Time for a Challenge

It's got to be a couple of months or so since I made a card for a challenge, so this weekend I decided to give the latest one from the CAS - Colours and Sketches Blog a go. This one is Challenge #144.

I love this colour combination idea but I wanted to keep it simple even though I had lots of crazy ideas going around my head.

This is the card that I came up with.

Among the Branches stamp set and the Woodland Textured Impressions Embossing Folder

I have admit that this is not exactly an original idea so I've not entered it into the challenge. It was fun to make though.

This is the card that I decided to enter instead.

For this card I used the Peaceful Pines stamp set and co-ordinating Perfect Pines Framelits Dies. These are available individually or as a bundle.

As you can see below, only the centre tree is popped up on dimensional, the two other trees are glued flat to the card. All of the stars and buckets/pots are on dimensionals too.

The Soft Sky flower on the bucket/pot comes from the Tree Builder Punch with the Night of Navy centre coming from the Owl Builder Punch.

As always, please feel free to leave comments to let me know what you think.

No More Sneak Peeks - the 2015 Autumn/Winter Catalogue is here

I'm doing a happy dance or I would be if I weren't heading to the airport for my ten and a half hour flight home. I've been incredibly lucky and met some lovely Stampin' Up! demos here in San Diego who very kindly shared some of their sneak peek goodies but I can't wait to get my hands on the stash I have waiting for me. Actually, I will have to wait as I'm not sure that my husband George will appreciate me heading off to my craft room the minute I get home!

This is the last of the projects I made in San Diego and features the Woodland Embossing Folder and the Among the Branches stamp set.

I'm hoping that you can see the Dazzling Diamonds on the branches.

I have some other exciting news to share with you.

Starting this month I am introducing a Monthly Hostess Code for those of you who wish to order online from me.

What is a Hostess Code I hear you ask?

  • If your order is £20 or more (excluding P&P), you should enter this code when you check out.
  • Your order will be sent direct to you in the usual way, via UPS.
  • I will close the Hostess Code on the 30th of each month (except for February for obvious reasons).
  • If all online orders using that month's code come to £150 or more, there will be Stampin' Rewards available. I will then choose items to the value of that month's Stampin' Rewards and these will be delivered to me.
  • Each person who ordered using that month's code will receive a share of the Stampin' Reward goodies and I will mail them to you at my cost along with a little something extra from me.
Please note, if your order comes to £150 or more DO NOT use the Hostess Code as your own order will receive Stampin' Rewards for you to spend.

Other points worth noting.
  • Because I don't close the Hostess Code until the end of each month, you will receive your share of the hostess items sometime around the middle of the following month.
  • Please do not check out as a "No Contact" customer. If you do, I will not have your contact details to send the goodies to, and I would hate for you to miss out.
  • Please make sure that my name is showing at the top right-hand side of the order page.
  • There will be a new code each month that I will share with people receiving my Monthly Newsletter and also on here and my FaceBook page.
SEPTEMBER'S HOSTESS CODE IS T9UNWJ4S

There is a link to the Autumn/Winter 2015 catalogue in the left-hand column and also on the Catalogue pages but just in case they are not working here's another one! Happy shopping.

Another Sneak Peek - Autumn/Winter No. 2

Just a very quick post today with another sneak peek, this time using a fabulous new embossing folder and stamp set. They will be available individually and also as a bundle. Don't forget, that by purchasing them as a bundle you will save 15%.

The embossing folder is called Woodland and is a whooping 15.2 cm x 15.2 cm so large enough to emboss a whole C6 card front. I just chose to cut mine down for this card.

The stamp set is called Among the Branches and has a branch as well as Christmas ornaments, leaves, birds and three solid image greetings.

I think that this is going to be a very popular bundle and I can't wait to play with my own set when I get home next week.
