10 Cards in 2 Hours Using Memories & More Cards

I have recently been holding a series of classes that I’ve called 10 Cards in 2 Hours. And, yes we have made all 10 of the cards  in the allotted 2 hours.

All the classes have involved a Memories & More Card Pack and also a pack of pre-cut card bases. The Memories & More cards are ideal for making cards as well as pocket scrapbooking, so don’t let the name fool you.

I also included with each kit some additional pre-cut card stock to add extra interest. The class instructions included all the cutting details so that the cards can be replicated again.

Flowers For Every Season

10 Cards in 2 hours - Flowers for Every Season

The Flowers For Every Season pack has cards suitable for all sorts of occasions. There are cards for Christmas, Men and of course lots of florals too. What’s more, there is a whole of suite of products that coordinate with them. These range from 6″ x 6″ paper, stamp sets, dies and embellishments.

These are the products used to make the 10 cards (all different).

World of Good

The World of Good pack is great for cards for those who love to travel, for men and also for simple pick-me-up cards. As per the Flowers for Every Season pack, there is a coordinating suite of products. This includes 12″ x 12″ foiled paper, stamp set and dies.

These are the products used to make the cards (all 10 different).

 Wonder of the Season

10 cards in 2 hours - Wonder of the Season

The Wonder of the Season pack can be found in the August-December 2020 Mini Catalogue. It too has a suite of products that can be combined with it, but the class kit included just a few additional cut items from me.

These are the products used to make the 10 cards (all different).

Purchase any of the Memories & More card packs along with the coordinating base cards and envelopes from my Online Store and I will email you the link to the appropriate instructions.

Not a stamp in sight with the Come Sail Away Memories & More Pack

For today’s Cards for Men I thought I’d do something different.  So, there’s not a stamp in sight or even needed for these cards.

Sometimes I simply want to make a card and just don’t fancy getting the inks out. Shock horror. Also, I know that there are people to who love to make cards but will use just dies or punches because they don’t like to stamp. Card making is for everyone and it doesn’t have to involve stamps all the time. It was therefore a bit of a no brainer to use the Come Sail Away Memories & More Card Pack today. Despite the fact that the name implies memory keeping or scrapbooking, these pre-printed cards are great for card making too. This is because –

  • They are designed to coordinate with current Stampin’ Up! colours and double sided paper.
  • They also coordinate with a stamp set and dies, so these are an additional option.
  • There are two assorted card and envelope packs available. So there’s no need to make your own card bases.

Check out this quick video which gives you are brief run through of all the cards, sticker sheets and laser card cards in the pack.

Here’s the two cards that I’ve made

not a stamp in sight

There is some matting and layering of the cards from the pack. And, I also die cut the ships wheel using the Smooth Sailing Dies and some scrap Night of Navy card stock.

This second card uses one of the laser cut cards.

The laser cut card was glued directly to another card from the pack. Using the Smooth Sailing Dies again, the ropes and also the label were die cut from some scrap Soft Suede andMossy Meadow card stock. A sentiment from the sticker sheet was added to the Mossy Meadow label.

If you would like to be able to make these “not a stamp in sight” cards, and need the supplies please consider purchasing them from my Online Store. You can do so by clicking on the images below.

Global Stampers - July Blog Swap

Hello and welcome to this month's Global Stampers Blog Swap. The theme this month is Vacations, or in UK speak Holidays.

Growing up, all of my holidays were spent in the UK either camping near the south coast, on a farm in North Devon or visiting my grandparents who lived on the Wirral.

The Vacation theme along with the Pick a Pattern Designer Series Paper reminded me of the times we would go caravaning. Thankfully, we were never one of those families who towed a caravan behind the car causing a long tail back of slow moving traffic (especially when faced with some steep hills). Although there was always la ot of "are we there yet?". The caravan we stayed in belonged to friends of my parents and it was on a static campsite called Sandy Balls. I just googled them, and the campsite site is a lot more upmarket than when we visited some 30+ years ago!

Petal Garden Memories & More Ideas
