Here are some more of the petal cone die projects that I made to show my friend Louise.
This first one is (if I might say so myself) a rather cute bunny. The Old Olive base is made from one die with one of the half round tops cut off. I ran the cut out base through the Big Shot again with the Perfect Polka Dot embossing folder.
The rabbit is made from Whisper White and Regal Rose card stock. I used a number of punches, namely:
1/2 " Circle Punch (whiskers)
Extra Large Oval Punch (feet, ears and body)
Large Oval Punch (feet and ears)
Scallop Oval Punch (eyes)
Ornament Punch (head)
The pink central part of his nose was punched using my Crop-o-dile (the larger hole puncher). I know that my niece, Niamh, will love this bunny. My only problem is that she is not quite three so it is not likely to last long in her hands!
I have had the Everybunny Stamp Set sitting on my shelf for some time and thought now was the right time to use it. I stamped the image in Basic Black and then coloured it in using a blender pen and various colour inks. The completed image was then punched out using the decorative label punch. I then punched out a further two decorative labels in Old Olive. One label was cut in half length ways and the other the long the middle the other way before sticking to the back of the image.
I added some Old Olive Satin Ribbon so that the box can be hung up, and filled with little easter eggs.
I was looking at a scrapbook that I made when we lived in the USA and found some old photos of the kids on an easter egg hunt in the neighbourhood that we lived in. It was always a mad scramble to see who could find the most.
