What a day

Yesterday was the first day of the Make It show. Wow, what a day. I can't believe that we ran out of Make and Takes mid afternoon. Thank you to everyone who stopped by. Hopefully you enjoyed making the card. I certainly enjoyed chatting to some familiar faces and new ones too.

I thought I'd share a photo that was taken just before the show opened. My good friend Pip is missing as she took the photo. I will try to find a photo of the four of us together and post it when I can.

L to R. Nicky Johncock, Lesley Lendon and me.

I was first up on the demonstration table so I made a couple of cards using the Triple Layer and  Two Step Stamping techniques as part of my demonstration (the photo was taken last night at home).

The Stampin' Up! products used were:

Stamp sets - Madison Avenue* and Perfectly Penned
Card Stock : (L) Midnight Muse and Whisper White. (R) Rich Razzleberry and Whisper White
Ink : (L) Rich Razzleberry and More Mustard. (R) Midnight Muze and More Mustard

Today is a big day for me as my son (my youngest ) is 18. Gulp. Where has the time gone? I know he won't be pleased if I share a photo of him so tomorrow I will share a photo of the card that I made him. Tonight we will be celebrating with a small family meal out and then tomorrow I will be back at the Make It show for the last day.
