I decided to take the easy way out this year and you know the saying "cash is king", but I didn't want to just put it in an envelope all by itself. Instead, I decided to make some cash/gift cards holders.
These were easy to make with the help of my Magnetic plate and the Circles Card Thinlets Die.
I used a piece of 12"x12" Cherry Cobbler card stock that I cut at 13.8 cm so that I could slot it through the Thinlet Die, like the picture below. I then ran it through my Big Shot.
Once cut, I then folded the card at the crease lines created by the Die. I then scored at 4.8 cm from the right hand side edge. Like the photo below.
The piece on the right hand-side end will be folded over and glued top and bottom to make the pocket. As per the photo below.
I then decorated the card using Season of Style Designer Series Paper and the Wishing You stamp set.
This is the card all folded up. It fits quite happily into a standard size envelope (C6).
Stampin' Up! supplies used:
Stamp set : Wishing You
Card Stock : Cherry Cobbler
Designer Series Paper : Season of Style
Ink : Cherry Cobbler, Old Olive and Baked Brown Sugar Stampin' Write Markers

Although I made these for Christmas, they can just easily be adapted for other times of the year and other celebrations.
I hope you all have a lovely Christmas. I'm be posting a few times between now and New Year but if you don't get a chance to check them out have a Happy New Year too.
