I'm sorry to report that the cold that I had three/four weeks ago seems to have returned and I've kind of lost my crafting mojo as a result. I usually find that when this happens that the best thing to do is check out the card challenges for a little inspiration. I found one that I liked on the Pals Paper Arts blog so I thought I'd give it a go.
This weeks challenge is a sketch (PPA201) and I thought it would be a good way of using up some of the Designer Series Paper that I have over here. I really don't want to take it back to the UK to use there. My suitcase is already bulging and I don't want to resort to having to take a larger one back with me.
This is the sketch that was provided
And, here's my take on it. I decided to make my version landscape as the stamp is a little too big to fit the card if it's the other way round! I guess I could have made a bigger card though to accommodate it but decided to keep it the standard UK size.
I was also going to add a little more bling but decided to keep it simple. I'm probably going to regret that but you know me, I'm not one for lots of fuss on my cards. I am most definitely a less is more kind of gal.
As always, feel free to leave comments (good or bad).
