The current colour challenge over at CAS Colours and Sketches
and the Global Design Project from last week. I'm too late to enter the GDP one, but here's what the challenge looked like.
I'm really starting to get into the swing of making things for Christmas. Classes next month will have a Christmas theme so my card for the challenges is a Christmas one too. Lets face it, what could be more Christmasy than the colours Cherry Cobbler and Garden Green?
I used my Stampin' Write markers to ink up a stamp from the Suite Seasons stamp set. Very Vanilla cardstock was used instead of my usual Whisper White. This was because I wanted a softer look to the card. I also like the effect of Very Vanilla with the Copper Foil sheet that was also used.
There's no die cutting on this card, just a bit of embossing using the Holly embossing folder. There's also a bit of punching using the 1/2" Circle Punch too. I'll leave you to see if you can spot where I used it.
I hope you like the card and as always, please feel free to leave a comment.
