Cut and scored already to be stamped and put together |
We had cut and pre-scored over 750 cards because those who came along to help stamp and put them together were each able to take 4 home with them.
People were able to come along either in the morning or afternoon and for those brave enough for both sessions.
By 3.30 pm we were at just over 400 cards (even Kylo was helping us).
For the last couple of hours there was just my daughter Jenny, my niece Holly (seen above) and myself making the cards. And, by 8.00 pm we had reached over 700 cards. Phew.
Monday was spent checking the cards and we were able to report our final number of 707. The photo below was taken at about the 500 mark.
The cards are heading up to the Stampin' Up! office this morning and the exciting news is that a total on 9493 cards were made at events over the weekend. Stampin' Up! had hoped that we would make 10,000 over two weekends so to almost achieve that in one is fabulous. Well done and thank you to everyone who took part.

By noon we had completed 190 cards and I was beginning that think that maybe our 700+ cards was a bit ambitious.
