I don't know why but I never seem to get my numbers right when it comes to sending Christmas Cards. I thought I was done, but no. So, this is the last one for 2017 and it very nearly didn't get finished. I misplaced the stamp for the smoke and spent two hours of searching. It finally turned up stuck to the rear of the packet the dies come in.
I used an Old Olive base card and a piece of Gold Foil Paper under the stamped images.
I'm sure you have seen lots of these eclipse (also called hidden words) cards recently. I made something similar a couple a few years back (secret letters or embedded stack) but this is a little easier and it's the first time I've used the technique on a Christmas card.
I'm thinking that this would also make a great new home card (different hidden word of course).
As you can see, I winged it a bit when it came to stamping the houses and trees because they are not exactly in a straight line. I had the idea to use a Smoky Slate Stampin' Marker to draw the ground and give the impression that it's supposed to be like that!
Here are another couple of photos.
Here you can see the inside of the card as well as the front.
