WOW it's that time again - End of Year Sale and retiring products

Hands up if you haven’t even started making your Christmas cards yet, or even your Christmas shopping. I’m most definitely guilty of the latter.

It’s still a little early for me to put Christmas cards in the post, but we did receive our first one yesterday. It’s sitting on the counter top in the kitchen because I couldn’t quite bring myself to opening it in November. The start of December means two things in the Stampin’ Up! world. End of Year Sale and also the start of the latest Demonstrator Pre-Order period.

The End Of Year Sale, which starts today, is on a while stocks last basis. There are two elements –

  • those items available at a discount which includes both surplus retiring (on 2 January 2018) and surplus main catalogue items
  • those items from the Autumn/Winter Catalogue simply retiring on 2 January 2018.
Retiring items will no longer be available come 3 January because the 2018 Spring/Summer Catalogue goes live that day.
Because items are only available on a while stocks last basis, you can find out the up-to-date details by clicking on the following.

Don’t forget to use this month’s code when shopping – Y2XKA9A4 – that way I know to send you a little extra Thank You along with my card.
Please note that orders placed after 14 December are not likely to be delivered in time for Christmas, so shop early if you are purchasing anything as a Christmas Present.
During pre-order months demonstrators get to order items from the up coming new catalogue. It’s one of the many perks that we get for being a demonstrator. But, did you know that you can get ahold of things early too? Anyone joining Stampin’ Up! during a pre-order month can include pre-order items in their starter kit. This month, you can also include anything in the End of Year Sale too.
If you have been thinking about purchasing a starter kit because you want to start your own Stampin’ Up! business or simply want to purchase Stampin’ Up! products at a discount then you want to consider joining this month. Not quite the right time for you?  That’s ok there’s another great opportunity just around the corner starting in January when Sale-A-Bration starts. Want to find out more? Please get in touch and I’ll let you have all the information you need to decide when is the best time for you.

Glam up your Christmas with the Year of Cheer Suite

This year I'm sorely tempted by the Gold, Copper, Silver and Champagne colours in the Year of Cheer Suite. When I think of Christmas cards I tend think of the traditional red and green colours, but this year I really am thinking of sending something a little different.

Check out this video from Stampin' Up! to see what's in the suite.

All of the metallic colours will look great with colours from the Regals Collection such as Night of Navy. And, you can see this for yourself in the sweet and simple card I have to share below.

I have a lot of cards to send this year, so anything that looks pretty but is quick and easy to make, is going to make things a lot easier for me. This card fits perfectly into those requirements.
Basic Instructions to make the card are as follows:
  • Use a 21.0 x 14.9 cm piece of Thick Whisper White, score it at 10.5 cm on the longest edge and then fold in half and burnish the fold with a Bone Folder to make the card base.
  • Using a 10.0 x 14.4 cm piece of Night of Navy stamp small snowflakes in Night of Navy all over and then glue to the card front.
  • Glue a silver snowflake from a pack of the Foil Snowflakes (12 each of silver and gold) to the card front.
  • Stamp the larger snowflake in Pool Party onto a piece of  Shimmery White Paper and once dry stamp the Joy sentiment in Night of Navy over the top.
  • Punch out the sentiment using a 1-3/4″ Circle Punch and then adhere to the centre of the snowflake using a Stampin’ Dimensional.
  • Stamp the larger snowflake in Night of Navy into the inside of the card and also onto the envelope. See photo below.

I’m certainly going to be playing with this suite some more this week so I’ll be back with more projects as soon as I am able.

My project supply list to shop on-line is as follows:

It's arrived and I'm not there

My pre-order from the Autumn/Winter catalogue has arrived but I'm not there ðŸ˜¢.

My daughter very kindly took a picture of the contents of the box - well some of them (she's sworn to secrecy). You can only see the top layer.

I didn’t go too mad either. I could have ordered the whole catalogue but I was very restrained in the hope that it would reach me before I left for San Diego. But no such luck. Never mind, I have something to look forward to on my return to the UK.
Don’t forget, if you join my group of crafting Acorns this month you can order items from the Autumn/Winter catalogue as part of your kit. You choose £130 worth for just £99 and there’s no P&P to pay either. Bargain.
