Fun at Training

One of the great things about being a Stampin' Up! demo is going to the Stampin' Up! Training Days. You get to meet lots of fabulous people who like you, just love their Stampin' Up! products, and you also get to see some of the fabulous new products that will shortly be available. Quite often you even come home with something that's not yet available. Now that's what I call a perk.

Two of my downlines, Nicky and Esther came to Telford with me and Esther was lucky enough to win one of the prize patrols.

Here's a photo of the three of us together during one of the breaks.

L to R Esther, Nicky and Me

Unfortunately I can't share a photo of what Esther won as it is one of the stamp sets that will be available in the new Annual Catalogue that is coming 1 July. I can however share a photo of the Prize Patrol gift that I won (on the right) and also my Stampin' Star that Natalie gave all the team members.

Another great thing about going to Training is the swaps. Some people make a hundred and others like me a more manageable amount. As much as I would love to receive 100 swaps I have no idea where I would put them all. Instead I took 25 (actually 26 but one went up on the board) with me, which for me is a more manageable amount.

Here are three of the swaps that I received - these have a bird theme.

I will be sharing more swaps later in the week. In the meantime, check back tomorrow to see what I've up to today (other than tidying up my wreck of a craft room).

Stampin' Stars Blog Hop

Welcome to the Stampin' Stars Blog Hop.

Those of you who have hopped here from Joanne's blog welcome. Isn't her post fabulous?

If you are just starting here on the hop then a big welcome too - you have another 18 fabulous blogs to hop around.

Full details of everyone taking part in this Blog Hop are at the bottom of this post together with buttons to click, one of which will take you to back to Joanne's blog and the other onto Louise's. Have fun and don't forget to leave comments as you hop around all the blogs.

When I first saw the Spring/Summer Seasonal Catalogue I fell in love with a number of things (to tell the truth far too many things). The three things that were at the top of my list and that I just had to have are on the project that I made for this blog hop.

When I first saw the Honeycomb Textured Impressions Embossing Folder two things came to mind, bees and patchwork quilts.

I opted to go the patchwork quilt route this time around and when combined with the More Amore Specialty Designer Series Paper I came up with this cute Baby Card.

The Stampin' Up! products used

Stamp set : That's the Ticket*
Card Stock : Pool Party, Primrose Petals, Crumb Cake and Very Vanilla
Paper : More Amore Specialty Designer Series Paper*

* From the Spring/Summer Seasonal Catalogue

I hope you have enjoyed taking a look at my project. Please feel free to leave comments before you hop onto Louise's blog by clicking on "Next", where she has a great project to share with you. Alternatively, if you want to hop back to Joanne's blog then click on the "Previous" link.

If you get lost you can pop back here and check out where you should go next (just in case a link doesn't work for some reason). Simply click on the name and it should take you straight there,
