Did you know that every month I provide a free printable tutorial to all those who subscribe to my Newletter? The tutorial features a project or card from a current catalogue, and full instructions along with a supply list is provided.
This is the card that I featured in December's Newsletter.
Next month I will be featuring a card from the 2016 Spring/Summer Catalogue. So, don't miss out. You can subscribe to my Newsletter by clicking on the subscribe button in the left-hand margin.
I will be placing my last order before Christmas on 12 December (this coming Saturday). If there are any Stampin' Up! supplies that you would like me to add to the order please contact me ASAP with details and payment, and I will add them.
If you are planning on placing an online order don't forget that this coming weekend is the recommended deadline to ensure that you receive your goodies before Christmas. Also, don't forget to use the Hostess Code (6C6QYP3M) before you Check-Out.
I am currently waiting for copies of the 2016 Spring/Summer and Sale-A-Bration catalogues to arrive. These will be going in the post immediately after Christmas although those coming to class this month may receive theirs earlier if they arrive in time. I can see some fingers now being crossed!
Class details for the first quarter of 2016 are now up on the Classes & Events page. Please contact me if you are interested in attending any of them. I will be at the Make It show in February too. The show has been reduced to two days and I'll be there both of them.

Christmas One Sheet Wonder
I haven't made cards using the One Sheet Wonder technique for ages, but as soon as I opened my new pack of Season of Cheer Designer Series Paper I knew that was exactly I wanted to do with one of the 12" x 12" sheets.
As I said above, I know I've shared details this technique before, but there are so many different ways that you can cut the paper that no two are exactly the same. Throw different paper into the mix and you get a completely different look. So many variations. I decided to go a little more complicated than the cutting into 6 pieces as shown on my post of 9 April so I Googled the technique and came across one that Susan Roberts over at Rainy Day Creations made back in 2009. Using her template I cut one sheet of the paper and used it to make 10 cards.
I broke with convention and decided to use both sides of the Designer Series Paper so that I had two cards using the same size/shape paper. The only cards I didn't do this with were the two with the strips and this was simply because trees looked a little stumpy and odd side ways on.
I added some co-ordinating card stock in the form of Cherry Cobbler, Mossy Meadow, Soft Sky and Whisper White and this is what I came up with.
All of the cards were stamped using the Holly Jolly Greetings stamp set. This is a great set because you can make your own greetings from the various stamps. On a couple of the cards I simply mounted all the stamps onto one block and on a couple of others I used my Stamp-a-ma-jig to stamp each stamp individually to make up the greeting.
Information about all the products used for these cards is as follows:
I have a few more Holly Jolly Greetings projects to share with you later this week, so please check back.

Yay, Sneak Peek Time - Autumn/Winter No 1
I've been holding off posting any sneak peeks because to tell the truth I don't have that many to share with you at the moment. All my pre-order goodies are waiting for me at home so I've not been able to play with them. I have however been able to play with a few items that some of the local demonstrators here in San Diego have allowed me to try out.
This card features some new Designer Series Paper, Ink, Embellishments and of course a Stamp Set.
This new stamp set is called Wonderland. I've stamped the fabulously large tree scene a few times in the new Basic Black Archival Ink onto the new Winter Wonderland Specialty Designer Series Paper. A new wooden Snowflake Element (coloured using a retired Gold Ink Pad) was added too.
Both greetings (outside and inside) along with the snow flakes are also part of the stamp set.
I do have a few more sneak peek projects to share on here. I will also be featuring one of them (and giving a free tutorial on how to make it) in my September newsletter. If you don't already subscribe them you can do so my click on the "Subscribe to my monthly newsletter" link in the left-hand column.
