Hello Hello Single Stamp

Sorry for the lack of recent posts. I have been busy catching up with stuff that should have been done around the house and with the family. Friends arrived last night from the States and today we are heading into London to do a spot of sightseeing before they head off on the Eurostar.

Yesterday a rather large order (mostly new catalogues) arrived. It contained not only my sneak peek products (one of the perks of being a demonstrator) but a couple of the new Single Stamps. The Hello Hello stamp is a little larger than I had thought it would be, but it's really great, as you can see for yourselves. As a point of reference, this is a standard A6 card so the front is 10.5 cm x 14.9 cm

Don't forget to check out the latest update of the Retirement List - things are moving fast and there are a few things that are no longer available. Items on the list are only available until 1 July (or while stocks later). In addition, items from the Spring/Summer Seasonal Catalogue are only available until the end of the month (30 June).

I'll be back on Sunday with another update and project.

Having a Whale of a Time

Yesterday was just one of those days when I somehow managed to get things done but they were not the things that I had originally set out to do. My daughter needed supplies to take with her on her 3 week work experience in South Africa (she leaves on Sunday and had as usually left it pretty much to the last minute before telling me what she needed), my son had to be taken and then collected from the train station so that he could go to college and it's that time of year that the car needs an MOT, tax and insurance. Say no more.

Anyway, all is now sorted and I still managed to find a little time in the evening to try out one of my recent purchases. Here's what I came up with.

I kind of cheated with this card because the whale is actually glued to a piece of acetate. You can see the shine from it in the picture below.
