CAS Colours & Sketches - Challenge # 224

I hope you enjoyed my challenge last week. This week it's the turn of Emily to host, and being the third Tuesday of the month, it means that it's time for a sketch challenge.

Here's what Emily has for us.

Don't forget you can rotate or flip the sketch, but I decided to leave it as is.  This is what I have made using the Floral Phrases and Crazy About You stamp sets.

I'm such a sucker for Rich Razzleberry cardstock and ink, and because I had a piece of the cardstock  sitting on my desk I decided to use it. I paired it with a bit of Blushing Bride to give a contrast.

I did take the liberty of moving the sentiment slightly and have it overhang the Rich Razzleberry strip.

To make the card I used:

• Thick Whisper White card base - A5 (21.0 x 14.9 cm) scored and folded at 10.5 cm
• Strip of Rich Razzleberry cardstock - 14.9 x  stamped with Rich Razzleberry ink to give a tone on tone effect.
• Strip of Blushing Bride cardstock - 1.5 x 8.0 cm stamped with Rich Razzleberry ink with sentiment made up of words from the Crazy About You stamp set (retiring 31 May).
• Circle of Whisper White cardstock  (3.5 cm or 1-3/8") - stamped with Rich Razzleberry ink using the Floral Phrases stamp set and then glued to circles of Blushing Bride )and Rich Razzleberry cardstock.

I then adhered the stamped images and sentiment to the base card using glue and dimensionals.
