It's all happening tomorrow

When I say it’s all happening tomorrow I really mean 11:00 pm tonight! A little confusing but 11:00 pm in the UK is 12:00 am in Europe and the Stampin’ Up! systems are linked to European time. There are in fact three things happening.

Online Exclusives

There are new Online Exclusive Products going live. These include the One Horse Open Sleigh Collection and the Timeless Charm Bundle. Both of these have been part of the demonstrator pre-order but there’s more to come.

Don’t forget that you will not find any of the Online Exclusives in a catalogue.

Bonus Days

Bonus Days are back. For each £45 spent between 6 July and 31 July you will receive a coupon code that can be redeemed in August. Things you need to know –

• There’s no limit to the number of codes you can earn but DO NOT start your order before 11:00 pm.
• If ordering with items being sent direct to you the coupon codes will also be emailed direct to you. If you qualified for more than one code in your order all codes will be emailed at the same time.
• If you ordered through me and are collecting your order from me, then I will email you your coupon code.
• Coupon codes can be redeemed against any Stampin’ Up! product during August, excluding the starter kit.
• You have until 31 August to redeem your codes.

Clearance Rack Update

The Clearance Rack is being updated.

• Items go quickly so check out what’s been added as soon as you can.
• Order online to avoid disappointment. The store updates in real time so if it’s no longer there it’s sold out.
• Don’t forget these items will qualify for bonus codes (see above) so long as the total for the reduced prices comes to £45 or more.

Web-site revamp

The IT Department at Stampin’ Up! have been revamping our personal  Stampin’ Up! web-sites (not this blog).The new web-site looks like this. I love the new clean look.

It now does lots of new and exciting things and should help you and me find things more easily. There are still a couple of glitches that need to be worked out but take a look and let me know what you think.

Please note that there is no longer a WWW in the URL. If you have the site saved in your favourites you need to remove the WWW otherwise you will get an error message.

Do you love the Stampin’ Up! Grid Paper used at class or seen in videos?

The Stampin’ Up! grid paper is great for keeping your crafting area clean. No more ink or glue on the table. It’s also great for lining up projects when adhering items, writing notes and measurements for projects, and many other things.

There is now a choice of three (excluding the small pad for the Stamparatus) pads.

I’m certainly doing to be getting some of the new Seasonal Square grid paper for classes in October and November. I’m even thinking of adding coloured card stock, decorating them and then getting them laminated. I can then use them for place mats at the Christmas table.

Retired Stamps, Bundles, Dies etc

A few people have been asking for a list of my retired stash because they were unable to attend the Open House in June. I have posted the list on my Facebook page but thought I’d share here too because not everyone is on Facebook.

If you are interested in purchasing anything please email me in the first instance (or message me on Facebook). If the item you want is no longer available I’ll let you know. I will invoice you for the products when I get back in early/mid October and payment can be made then by Bank Transfer or Credit Card.

Classes and Events

September’s Online Class. Booking for the September Nature’s Beauty Online Class is now closed. There is the option to purchase just the Instructions for £10.00. Email me if you are interested.

October’s Class (both Online and in-person) will feature products from the Brightly Gleaming Suite.

Booking for both will open on 1 October and close on 12 October (2 weeks before the in-person event).

• The Online Class will cost £40.00 and will include a stamp set and pre-cut supplies to make 6 cards.
• The in-person event will cost £55.00 and will be held on 26 October from 10.00 to 4.30 pm. Please note that space is limited to 10 people.

Additional information about each option will be available in the 1 October update. In the meantime, mark your calendar now and don’t forget to check the latest news next month.

Card & A Cuppa – Linda is hosting today (18 Sept) and the first one in October too ( 2 Oct). Hope you get a chance to join her at the Grange Chocolate Cafe, Holme Grange Craft Village from 10.00 am.

English Garden DSP - the bees are so cute

Just teasing you. I have intact been hiding from the heat in my craft room and preparing for the coming weekend. I have two classes on (Friday evening and Saturday morning) followed by a whole day of Team Training on Sunday. The paper and ink above are for the classes on Friday and Saturday.  I have to admit that I am really pleased how the projects have turned out and I will share them with you on Sunday.

Swaps from Training

Here are a few more of the fabulous swaps that I received last weekend when I went to Telford.

Three of these measure 9.5 cm x 9.5m and the other 10.0 cm x 10.0 cm. They would make cute cards all by themselves, or each of them could be mounted on a standard C6 card to make a larger (normal) size card.

Sue's card was made using the Glitter Background Technique, not something I have tried. It's really glittery and the photo does not do it justice. I am glad that it's in a cellophane bag though (took it out for the photo).

Sandra used the Bleaching Technique for her card - this is something I tried when I ran a techniques class and it gives a lovely effect (and surprisingly different) on different coloured card stock.

I need to go look in my box to see if I can find a note of who made the lovely 'Thank You' card, if you know who it was please let me know.

One quick Stampin' Up! up-date, the Clearance Rack as been updated. Hooray, I can't believe some of the goodies now on there and I'm off to take a closer look.

You never know, I might even have time to do a spot of crafting that I can share with you in the morning.
