Framelits card

I've been on a bit of a roll with my christmas card making. This is another one that was quick and easy to make. This is just as well as I took a break from preparing for my last Christmas Stamp-a-Stack this coming Saturday - I'll post a sneak peek of those cards later in the week.

The Color Coach came in handy, as it always does when I'm looking to make a card in a hurry.  I wanted to make a card using Midnight Muse and what better colour to co-ordinate with it than Rich Razzleberry.

I used the Labels Collection Framelits and some Whisper White card stock and Rich Razzleberry Designer Series Paper from the Brights Collection Stack.

The larger Whisper White framelit was run through the Big Shot a second time with the Lacy Brocade Textured Impressions Embossing Folder.

The greeting comes from the Delightful Dozen stamp set and I stamped it using my Midnight Muse ink pad onto a piece of Whisper White card stock. I then used a framelit from the new Apothecary Accents Framelits set. This was added to the Rich Razzleberry DSP using Dimensionals.

The photo is not too clear but I also added a couple of the new Vintage Faceted Designer Buttons (one each side) with a Basic Rhinestone placed in the centre of each.  Click on the photo and you should be able to see a larger picture.

Because the card base is Midnight Muse I thought it might be a good idea to add a Whisper White framelit to the inside so that I can write a message. I did however add a couple of stamped snowflakes from the Four Seasons hostess set.

Don't forget, if there are any products that I've used which you would like to purchase let me know. Orders can be placed at anytime and shipped direct to you.

Four Seasons - Hostess Set

Did you know that you don't have to host a party to qualify for the Hostess Benefits?  If you and a group of friends get together to place an order of £150 or more or if you have a huge wish list yourself then you can still qualify for the hostess benefits. A £150 order means that you will have £25 to spend on any product in the Catalogues or you can use it to purchase any of the specially priced Hostess only sets (stamp sets or designer series paper).

The new Annual Catalogue has 6 stamp sets to choose from (see pages 196 to 201 inc) and today I am featuring a card that I have made using the Four Seasons stamp set (£18 for wood mount and £14 for clear mount).

The set consists of 8 stamps and the clear mount stamp set comes in 2 cases. It can be used with the coordinating 1" circle and 2-3/8" scallop circle punches. Quick tip for you - when looking through the catalogue a number of the images will have a blue line around them. This means that there is a matching punch that can be used on that image. If the line is red, then there is a coordinating die to match.

I decided to make my card a little bit more contemporary by using blues instead of the more traditional reds and greens of Christmas. The base card is made from Baja Breeze and I also used one of the new In Colors, Midnight Muse. You can't see too clearly from the photo but the background on the Midnight Muse has been stamped using the new Illuminate ink pad and I also sponged the small bird in the centre with the Illuminate too.
